Narrative sculpture for international automotive A-fair

We animated, programmed, and constructed an sculptural exhibit, based on a concept by Yellow Design, for BMW during the 2015 IAA. We designed a custom LED glass panel that was combined with a vertically suspended chassis featuring BMW’s Plug-in Hybrid technology, providing captivated visitors with a surprising feeling of transparency and lightness. Visitors could interact with the exhibit by using a touch kiosk, which displayed graphic animations that presented information on the various available driving modes. The chassis and LED panel were also correspondingly animated and further highlighted this information.
